Why you can trust the results
Every draw on this site follows the same rule: the result is chosen before anything moves on screen. When you press Spin, the tool asks your browser for cryptographically secure random bytes through crypto.getRandomValues(), converts them into a choice using rejection sampling so no entry is favoured by rounding, and only then works out the rotation that will park that slice under the pointer. Frame rate, easing and spin duration change how it looks, never what it lands on.
Your lists stay on your device. There is no account, no upload and no server-side copy — you can open your browser's network tab and watch nothing leave the page. Nothing is written to browser storage unless you explicitly save a list or opt into keeping your draw history.
When a draw is weighted, it says so, and shows the exact percentage for every entry. When something cannot be done fairly — a range too wide to draw as readable slices, more unique winners than there are entries, a seating rule that cannot be satisfied — the tool explains the problem instead of producing a plausible-looking wrong answer.
Read the methodology page for the exact algorithms, or the guide on how random selection works for the reasoning behind them.
Ready-made templates
- Classroom Templates Starter lists for the routines that come up every week in a classroom. Edit any list, then send it straight to a picker, wheel or group generator.
- Food Templates Lists for the daily "what are we eating?" question. These are generic starting points — swap in the places and dishes your household actually likes.
- Activity Templates When everyone wants to do something but nobody wants to choose, load a list and let the wheel decide.
- Chore Templates Chore lists that split cleanly between the people in a home, a shared office or a classroom. Load one and assign it without another discussion.
- Icebreaker Templates Original prompts written for this site, kept short enough to answer in a sentence. Spin a wheel of names, then spin a wheel of questions.
